Not a lot happening on Saturday television, evidently.

He said that he took the money he earned in his brief musical career and plowed it into real estate. He claims that he has done very well in real estate even with the downturn in the market. His advice? Work hard and understand the market you're investing in. I might give this show a glance just to see how he's making money in such a negative real estate market.

I was expecting him to talk like a wigger. He was wearing a hat with the brim turned to the side like all of the rappers wear their hats. Instead, he sounded halfway intelligent and he even mocked MC Hammer for wasting his fortune!

The first episode didn't knock my socks off, but it wasn't entirely horrible either. It may be like Supernatural in that it takes a number of episodes for the writers to find their footing. Of course, comparing it to the superlative Supernatural isn't really fair, but one can hope that the show turns out to be a hidden gem of sorts. Anywho, it's not like there's much else on Saturday nights.

It's like it's on its last legs. And it's survival is hardy being helped by the season being chopped in half and interrupted.

The problem is that the writers have basically come up with the most apocalyptic end-of-the-world storylines in past seasons, and they don't have elsewhere to go to top those scenarios. So, they proffered the Leviathan arc this season, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I will definitely try to watch a fair portion of the season and give the show a chance to prove itself. My one complaint concerns the black side-kick guy who spouts horror movie factoids. I can barely understand what he's saying. His accent is very thick. I watched the mini-series 'State of Play' on BBC America, and it turned out better than I expected.

I found it really hard to understand what the hell was going on in that show. I wasn't just letting it play in the background while doing something else. I watched each episode twice, and it still felt like the writers wrote each episode in isolation with no idea where they were going. Towards the end, it definitely seemed to straighten out and fly right though, but then the ending really fizzled out too. I wouldn't be interested in a second series. Though that's just my opinion.

It's definitely on its last legs. Killing off Bobby was a bit of a shocker, but the storyline has just gone so far off the rails right now, it's crazy. Leviathans have infiltrated all levels of power, etc... Why? Who the fuck knows. And even the mega-powers like Crowley can't do anything about them? Just end it. And let's pretend the show ended with Sam falling into the pit.
