    "100% Medically Accurate".

    by yamayama

The human centipede movie could have been better. It could have been a good dark satire on the underbelly of Caviar Porn that is prevalent in Germany and Brazil. The idea of a production line of victims with a fate worse than death. Maybe the sequel will be an improvement but i doubt it. Its been ages since we had a good satirical edged horror movie since Roths's Hostel.

  • April 27, 2011 8:27 AM CST

Would have been more interesting if....

    by v3d

Trey and Matt showed how a guy (Jobs) with a long history or poor health and cancer could possible go to the head of the line for an organ transplant.

    Roth's Hostel

    by AKA_Gern_Blanston

Not sure where you got satirical from as it was just torture porn.

  • April 27, 2011 9:03 AM CST

just bought Season 14 on blu ray

    by AKA_Gern_Blanston

Why the FUCK is every DAMN episode uncensored yet they leave the censor hack job that those MOTHERFUCKERS at Comedy Central did on 201 intact? I honestly expected to hear the last three minutes of the show uncensored and instead I got three minutes of FUCKING beeps. In the immortal words of the once great Jack Bauer - DAMMIT!

  • April 27, 2011 9:54 AM CST

Yah, what is the deal with cursing on South Park

    by Judge Briggs

I am confused. Comedy Central won't bleep out the cursing on the late night showings of the cartoon, however, the show is censored via Netflix instant streaming? Doesn't make sense! Just like the wookie defense, IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Anyone know what the deal is?

  • April 27, 2011 10:51 AM CST

last season of SP was easily the worst ever

    by jules windex

If this new season starts poorly it may be time to put the show to sleep.

  • April 27, 2011 11:53 AM CST

    last season was great!

    by AKA_Gern_Blanston

Grown men hopping down the street on their own balls, Sharon's shake weight obsession, the return of Scott Tenorman, Ctulhu, Mintberry Crunch, Kenny coming to terms with his immortality, the best Tiger Woods video game ever, the creature called Snooki, etc, etc.

  • April 27, 2011 11:56 AM CST

    also

    by AKA_Gern_Blanston

the Horse faced donkey witch that was Sarah Jessica parker, Mecha Streisand, Stan getting sucked into Tron: Facebook, Freddy Kruger coming back for one last job, Cartman snorting KFC chicken skin and going all Pacino on the Colonel, etc, etc.

    SOUTH PARK Season Premiere tonight!

    by You Have MY Voice

So I'm guessing the season finale airs in four weeks...?

  • April 27, 2011 2:03 PM CST

    South Park is so original!

    by magic_ninja

My favorite episode is the one where they took that thing that happened in the news and did a parody of it based on that one movie.

Yes, they lift ideas out of current events, but its what they do with those events that make them brilliant. The social commentary episodes are usually pretty outrageous and funny, but also offer pretty biting critique of our culture. Whether its the High School Musical episode, the Financial Crisis episode, or the Brittney Spears episode (whose ending manages to be downright creepy and sad, while also being pretty accurate of the way we treat celebrities). They do a great job of highlighting the mroe absurd parts of American culture. Not every episode is a winner (last season's NASCAR episode didn't really pop, and I thought the whole "Coon & Friends" thing went about an episode and a half too long) but they have a pretty great track record overall. I mean, last season gave us: Scrotie McBoogerballs, the Jersey Shore attack, Crippled Summer Camp, the Mohammad in a bear suit controversy, and giant bouncy balls. You're going to complain about that?

  • April 27, 2011 9:39 PM CST

    Great episode

So funny and so, so true.

  • April 27, 2011 11:44 PM CST

    Anybody else notice the commercials?

    by solvseus

Anybody else think having every other commercial be an iPad competitor was funny? Guessing they didn't do it on purpose, and might even be a little pissed that the execs wanted to capitalize on their content, but it seemed kinda funny to me. As a former Genius, I thought that bit was hilarious too... and sadly pretty accurate. Better not let Steve Jobs see it.

  • April 28, 2011 3:31 AM CST

    shitty episode......DYSWIDT?

    by Mundungus

They usually reserve such abuse for cartman or butters.

    Cartmans voice was different.

    by V'Shael

I know it must play havoc with his throat after all these years, but Cartman sounded way too close to Stan in the episode. But yeah, it was funny as hell. And while I don't use apple products anymore, I thank the stars that I know how to read the EULA.

    jeezus shit

  • April 28, 2011 8:48 AM CST

    @v'shael: Listen to earlier episodes

    by cookepuss

Cartman originally did sound very similar to Stan. Somewhere around S3 or S4, Cartman's voice became a bit more raspy. That change bothered for a while. I don't care either way now. It's more about the attitude instead of the voice.

When the Geniuses mouths started to shoot connecting beams?

    by MoffatBabies

I almost shat myself laughing for some reason. Just the look on their faces, and the sounds they were making. That whole episode was the best they've been in a long time.

Doctor Who Breaks BBC America's Ratings Record! Suck It, Diox!

    by THAT_SAID_THE_CHOPPAH

"Doctor Who" is continuing its inevitable takeover of America. The premiere of the sixth season of the rebooted, legendary British sci-fi franchise drew BBC America's highest-ever ratings for a telecast when it aired on Saturday. 1.3 million people tuned in to see the return of the Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory and River Song. (As you might have surmised, some HuffPost Media editors are also big "Doctor Who" fans.) That's 71,000 more than the channel's previous record--which was also a "Who" episode.

  • April 28, 2011 11:08 AM CST

Oh No. Cuttlefish is about to come out of my asshole.

    by LordBond

Absolutely loved this episode. Don't get all the complainers on here. It is still far and away the funniest cartoon on TV. It may dip in quality from time to time, but still pisses all over Family Guy and the Simpsons.

  • April 28, 2011 11:36 AM CST

Twitter should change its name to HumanCentipeed

    by THAT_SAID_THE_CHOPPAH

because that's all it is is just people eating and repeating each other's shit. I mean, freaking braindrain is on twitter. BRAINDRAIN!!!

  • April 28, 2011 12:20 PM CST

I felt it was good- but I did wonder:

    by Kamaji

Why didn't they kill Steve jobs? They offed Spielberg, Lucas, and Coppola in 'Free Hat' and Rob Reiner in 'Butt out.' Unless they're hoping that like the 'Go God Go' episodes that netted them some Nintendo Wii's, that maybe Apple will send them some free iPads.

  • one of the worst sci-fi pieces of crap ever. but yeah that new Doctor Who was excellent. Makes SGU look like the POS it really is. BSG totally put SGU to shame hardcore. Great South Park too. Noooo not cuttlefish and asparagus! Heh.

Cartman's f*(& jokes stolen from Saturday Night Live

    by Vulcan Deathgrip Productions

South Park is still good, but not as good as it once was. The worst episodes ever were the ones last season where Kenny’s death scenarios where stupidly explained via the fact he was a superhero. I would definitely say that could be their “jump the shark” moment. The problem with Wednesday’s episode wasn’t the human centipede part at all, that was okay. It was Cartman’s rants about his Mom f(#&ing him. Anybody who has seen Saturday Night Live recently know they stole it directly from the sketches about Obama, the Chinese President and his interpreter. Shame shame, South Park. Shame shame.

  • April 28, 2011 5:23 PM CST

    Speaking of "asshole".....

    by v3d

remember when it was national news that Dennis Franz was going to say "asshole" on NYPD Blue?

Maybe some MORE completely "brilliiant" fat jokes

    by WerePlatypus

Lord knows, it's been soooo long since there's been a fat joke on South Park.

    by palooka_boy

SNL didn't invent that joke. That's an old joke.

  • April 30, 2011 8:20 AM CST

Who the hell still watches SNL??

    by Candice

I agree with Palooka boy...those jokes weren't meant to be original. Besides, SNL hasn't be relevant since 2008. Maybe they'll strike gold again in 2012, but unless Sarah Palin is in the race somewhere, I doubt it. South Park is just as awesome as it ever was!

Not everyone has seen every comedy bit in the world. it's possible for people to arrive at thoughts independently. I've never heard that bit before, whose to say Trey and Matt Have. The Telephone was invented on two different continents at the exact same time. Shit happens dude.
