Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke and his evil doppelganger on “Lost,” will play a malevolent presence in “Hallalujah,” an ABC pilot from “Desperate Housewives” mastermind Marc Cherry.
Cherry’s “Housewives” once beat “The Office” for the best TV comedy Golden Globe, but Cherry’s latest is described as a drama with musical elements.
In the pilot O’Quinn plays a millionaire in a town “torn apart” by the forces of good and evil.
Donal Logue, recently of "Terriers," is also in the cast.
O’Quinn was attached (as was fellow “Lost” vet Michael Emerson) to “Odd Jobs,” a J.J. Abrams project at NBC, but that pilot was pushed to next season for some reason. Emerson was subsequently reassigned to another Abrams project, the CBS pilot “Person of Interest.”
