“Caprica” ends Jan. 4 with a big five-hour Syfy extravaganza, but the channel has already greenlit a two-hour movie pilot for “Galactica: Blood & Chrome,” which focuses on twentysomething Bill “Husker” Adama’s adventures during Cylon War I.
Syfy’s news arm, Blastr, has concept art of a protosix femborg, a giant mechanical snake (“The Cython”!) and what looks like an early version of a colonial raptor.
Find them all here.
Scripted by outer-space TV vet Michael Taylor (“Deep Space Nine,” “Voyager,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Virtuality,” “Caprica”), the “Chrome” pilot began life as a script for a series of online webisodes before it was upgraded to something for the mother channel.
