Love this International Trailer for FROM PARIS WITH LOVE, from the upcoming Director of DUNE!

Hey folks, Harry here with a trailer... many times superior to the domestic one... One of those awesome International Trailers where violence and language can go incredibly fucking nutsoid. Now, as I was watching this trailer - all I could think is, THIS GUY IS DOING DUNE??!?!? Of course at one point, people were looking at ERASERHEAD and thinking the same thing. Pierre Morel seemingly came out of left field with DISTRICT 13 and TAKEN... both of which are really outstanding action films. FROM PARIS WITH LOVE seems very much along the same lines. Before life as an action director, he was the Steadicam Operator on Besson's THE MESSENGER: THE STORY OF JOAN OF ARC, TAXI 2. Later he was the Super 16 camera operator on THE DREAMERS, before returning to Steadicam on Linklater's BEFORE SUNSET. Later he became a Director of Photography with THE TRANSPORTER and DANNY THE DOG. BUT... what will his DUNE look like? What manner of tone? I am actually fascinated because this is something entirely new for Pierre, but if the right writers crack the script and he gets a great cast - and well all the stars line up, maybe we'll get a great DUNE. It is still one of the hardest nuts to crack in Science Fiction in my opinion. Meanwhile, about that link to FROM PARIS WITH LOVE beware of intensely foul language and you could LOL so careful if you're at work.
