Hey there Yogi Bear, nice to have you along. Here we have a few tidbitsy-morsel like vestiges of information about SCREAM 3. Instead of having a rehash of the ol 'which is better SCREAM or SCREAM 2' how about talking about what you'd like to see happen in this third installment. Or better yet... wouldn't it have been cool if the first one was called SCREAM, the second one SQUEEL and the third one SHRIEK? Sorry... I'm recovering from massive puking experiences.... my grey matter swirled down the drain...
Now being a major Scream fan and one that is greatly anticipating Scream 3, I was esctatic and a little disappointed by the following news which I learned of. I received an email from the editor of "Total Film" magazine, which is in response to one that I had sent her. I was inquiring about an article that had been supposively written by their magazine. The article said that Scream 3 revolved around Sid going to Hollywood to be an actress, stuff we already know, but it also said that the studio which cast's her in her first movie, will also be the studio that is currently filming the sequel to Stab. So I was asking if that was true or not, and she CONFIRMED to me that yes the article does exist and yes the information is ACCURATE. She also went on to reveal a possible MAJOR SPOILER in regards to Neve Campbell's character Sid whom the trilogy has centered upon. The entire email is below but be warned that this could be a big SPOILER:
"We did indeed run this story in the current Issue 28 of Total Film (with Famke Janssen on the cover). The plot details are from Kevin Williamson's current script and the main three cast are signed on to return, in a film that will complete the trilogy. Rumours persist that Neve Campbell will bite the dust early (which Williamson hinted at in a unversity press conference)."
Also Charisma Carpenter is rumored to be in final talks for a part in it.
