UPDATED again, but by Harry! Is Cloverfield Really...

Hey folks, Harry here.... I'm on the 101 north of San Francisco headed for Eureka, Ca to settle in tonight - and while driving, I had a bit of a Eureka moment with a spy revealing that the below MONSTROUS poster is the first of 3 teaser posters that will lead to the TITLE reveal poster. First we'll have "MONSTROUS" - next we will have "BARBAROUS" - then we will have "FEROCIOUS" - To me - these phrases are not even spoilers - but if you're like me - if MONSTROUS is a headless Statue of Liberty - what images go with BARBAROUS and FEROCIOUS? -- The title? Well, I don't want to spoil it, so you should go ask, Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Before calling it a night, I just wanted to post this up. We've been getting tons and tons and tons and tons of fake Cloverfield stuff. Tons of it. I might be putting my foot in my mouth again, but I hear we'll be seeing, at Comic-Con, an official announcement of the title and the rumor I heard today was that it was going to be called MONSTROUS. When I heard this, I immediately thought of a couple blurry poster images we've been sent that had that title. So, I wouldn't say it's a confirmation, but I think it's very likely that the below poster is for CLOVERFIELD. We'll know more tomorrow, as I'm sure if there is an announcement it'll be during the Paramount panel. Enjoy!

Hey, everyone, "Moriarty" here. I was in San Diego for a grand total of about two hours last night, then got out of there. In that time, I heard (A) "CLOVERFIELD is really RAMPAGE," (B) "CLOVERFIELD is really VOLTRON," and (C) "CLOVERFIELD is called MONSTROUS," all rumors that have been floating around the internet for weeks now. Here's what we do know: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY has just published a high-res version of the poster, and it's the same poster we've been seeing for the last week, but you'll notice that the word "MONSTROUS" is nowhere to be seen. So what's the deal? Did someone take a real scoop (that first image of the poster that someone snapped) and feel the need to jazz it up a bit? If so, that's a shame, because the poster itself is a very cool reveal. Check it out here:

Entertainment Weekly's website EW.com has an exclusive First Look at the new teaser poster for JJ Abrams' latest cinematic enigma -- codenamed Cloverfield..... as well as a few other hush-hush details. It's a must-see! The Statue of Liberty without her head? What exactly is this movie all about? Get the scoop on Cloverfield at EW.com. The poster will also appear in Entertainment Weekly magazine, hitting stands tomorrow (Friday). Please feel free to do something with this breaking news, but make sure to credit EW.com and please link back to the full story.

Quint back again. Abrams made a joke on the panel saying, "Who here thinks it's called MONSTROUS?" (Cheers) "Well, it's not!" Then he unveiled the poster above, minus the name. Those dirty sneaky bastards...
