This first clip is PERFECT! Dead on. The swing, the dynamic fluid motion... That sound as he connects to the wall/window frame, the sound as he drops down... The bizarre way the mask comes off in his hands... What sort of bizarre material would pull off like that? It's amazing. As for Tobey Maguire... He's perfect. You idiots referencing the modern comic books... Screw That With A Donkey Mount you nerfferters. Read STEVE DITKO and STAN LEE's Spider-Man. Spidey was dorky, clumsy... that kid in the back of comics that got sand kicked in his face by Charles Atlas. As for that being Peter's pad... I don't know. I agree with the person that says it is a bit over Peter's budget. BUT... and I might be wrong here... But I seem to have a vague memory of a time period around the late 40s through 70s issues of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN when he shared living space with Harry Osborne. Now my memory may be hazy, I haven't reread those issues since I was a kid, but I seem to recollect that Peter lived with Harry during his College years in a Town House sort of place that Harry's father paid for. This began as an arrangement for Peter to help Harry with his college work, and it would help him to have his own space and so the money he earned could go to help pay for Aunt May's medication. Now, like I said, it has been about a zillion years since I read those issues, but that seems to be my memories of the situation.
Now, GREEN GOBLIN... this scene is just really confusing to me. I'm not real sure what is going on here, why the Green Goblin is taunting a room full of kids as though Spider-Man is there.... is he? I believe he's blowing up an industrial complex, not the builiding with the kids. I wish there was facial mask movement here, but it was nice to see a range of movement from that costume that didn't look as stiff as I feared it would be. Also, I must add that the flying out of the explosion shot was pure Green Goblin, I just wish he had a pumpkin bomb with flames coming out of it and that animated HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAA!!! Letters flew from his mouth.... Just kidding on that last point... But I do want bold black wavy lines coming out of Peter Parker's head when danger is near!
