I completely missed the super bowl, I was very busy yesterday. Not really a football fan, and I can’t say I’m the type to “watch it for the commercials” either. Really, you go to those parties for the free food. Kidding. However, I can’t deny that some cool stuff comes out of it! Check out the teaser for THE TWILIGHT ZONE that jarred some viewers!
Jordan Peele, the host of the new THE TWILIGHT ZONE shares an introduction in his best Rod Serling impression. Will he host the entire show speaking like that? If so, I’m okay with that. Peele seems fairly dedicated to keeping his version of THE TWILIGHT ZONE as true to the original as possible going out on that classic...jingle? I can’t call it music. Honestly, when that thing glitched out, it felt more like BLACK MIRROR, but THE TWILIGHT ZONE probably would have done that long ago first had they had the technology. I love spooky anthologies, and I’m excited to see this reboot.
It’s going to be streaming exclusively on CBS All Access April 1st. April Fool’s Day. Does that mean it won’t be there on that day? I’m still traumatized from South Park’s April Fools prank when I was a kid. You know, that time they were supposed to reveal who Cartman’s father is. So yes, I’m very suspicious!
