Gatchaman Fans Rejoice! News from ComicCon about a "BATTLE OF THE PLANETS" Film!!

Hola Dannie aqui,

Today the Russo Brother's (Joe and Anthony Russo) held a panel at San Diego ComicCon the duo announced they have acquired the rights to "Battle of the Planets." The brothers are planning on producing a feature film and possibly directing as well. The Russo brother's many know from their recent work on Marvel's Avengers: Infinity WarCaptain America: The Winter SoldierAvengers: Endgame, and Captain America: Civil War. After the success of the brothers work with Marvel it is mesmerizing to think of what they will do with a Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets) feature film!

Gatchaman (aka Battle of the Planets aka G-Force) was a television series created by Tatsuo Yoshida back in the early 70's. The series ran well over 100 episodes and was one of the first anime series to reach mega-popularity here in the U.S. of A.  There has been talk before of a Gatchaman film, however, the projects always failed to come into existence. Hopefully, the Russo brothers have enough cash, clout, and talent to actually thro this anime classic up on the silver screen in all of its hyper-stylized badassery!

Well, what do all of you out there in cyberspace think of the news? I grew up watching 5th generation pirated vhs tapes and love the series. I can not wait to see G Force in action on the big screen, and please release it to the IMAX!
