DC gave us our first full-length trailer for their Swamp Thing series yesterday, and it seems to capture a solid horror feel! Lots of suspenseful cuts, a couple of jump scares, and monster's-eye-view, water level approach shots to bump up the creep factor. This kind of gives me hope that, despite DC cutting the series length before production was even near completed, it may be at least a decent (if, I still suspect, somewhat rushed) watch.
The show, based on the DC characters originally written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, will debut on May 31st on the DC Universe streaming platform.
