The New ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP Trailer Does Not Impress Barbarella

I have really mixed feelings about Zombieland: Double Tap.  On the one hand, I’m getting tired of zombies.  Yeah, I said it.  We’ve been inundated with them for so long, and I’m just about done with them.  But, I’ve been saying that for a while now, and I still find myself catching the latest zombie shows or films and generally really enjoying them.   I’m not feeling much love for this trailer, though.  I like the idea of pseudo-doppelgängers for some reason, but how did Michael Cera not get the role of Columbus’ look alike?    Nothing against Thomas Middleditch - I love him in SILICON VALLEY - but people constantly confuse Jessie Eisenberg and Michael Cera, so it seems a more perfect fit.  I have to admit, I’m curious to see Thomas Middleditch in this world, but I’d rather see him as Richard Hendricks dealing with the rules of survival.  Could you imagine the hilarity?  At any rate, I have a feeling Double Tap will be a lot of fun, so I’m going to give it a shot.  What do you think?  Is interest in zombie content dying or is there still life in the genre?
