Hey friends! Barbarella here, and I have to say that I'm always excited when something I caught and really dug at a festival gets distribution. APPOFENIACS may not be the easiest title to say, but the film proves entertaining and timely. It presents the real life consequences of posting fake videos online, and it just gets crazier and crazier. While a lot of fun, the themes around it prove thought-provoking and disturbing in a world where fake videos become more and more convincing. I really enjoyed this movie, and if you're warped like me, you probably will too.
