For many, this is exciting news! It means the film won't be hindered or toned down to make PG-13. A trend all too common in horror movies these days. It also means the film won't be held back by a hard NC-17 rating which could make promotion and also getting the film in to theatres much tougher. Maybe impossible.
3 FROM HELL is a follow up to 2003's House Of 1000 Corpses and a sequel to 2005's The Devil's Rejects making it a trilogy. The film was written and directed by Rob Zombie and stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley and Sid Haig all reprising their roles as "Baby" Firefly, Otis B. We have yet to receive a release date, trailer or any official synopsis, and fans are wondering how the three main characters survived the final scene of The Devil's Rejects where they were last shown driving into a hail of bullets, courtesy of the police. ("Freebird" will never be the same.)
