Between the Batman news, THE STAND news, and this new RUNNER RUNNER clip, I am dubbing this "Ben Affleck Day". Let the internet either rejoice or continue complaining - whatever you're more comfortable with.
If you recall from the trailer released earlier this summer. RUNNER RUNNER is the new thriller from director Brad Furman (THE LINCOLN LAWYER) that delves deep into the world of online poker.
Princeton grad student Richie, believing he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block. Richie is seduced by Block’s promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor. When the FBI tries to coerce Richie to help bring down Block, Richie faces his biggest gamble ever: attempting to outmaneuver the two forces closing in on him.
This clip looks to take place fairly early on in the film, and shows Affleck living large aboard his yacht, and offering a unique employment opportunity to Timberlake's naive character.
