It was only a matter of time before the rest of the Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles were announced, following the casting of Alan Ritchson as Raphael last week, and, as fast as you can say "Turtle Power," Deadline has the rest of the fearsome foursome in place.
- Leonardo - Pete Ploszak
- Donatello - Jeremy Howard
- Michaelangelo - Noel Fisher
Fisher had been seen in HATFIELDS & McCOYS, is a regular on the Showtime series SHAMELESS and was a featured vampire in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2. As for Ploszek, his resume consists of guest work on SHAMELESS and NBC's PARKS & RECREATION. Jeremy Howard, on the other hand, has mostly done bit parts, the likes of GALAXY QUEST and MEN IN BLACK II.
With TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES using mo-cap technology to bring the turtles to life, you won't have to get used to seeing either of these actors' faces. We just have to hope they have the chops to bring their characters to proper life using these methods. If they can make it work, we might have a fun Turtles flick on our hands.
Shredder looks to be the next big role to go, and we could hear word on who'll be playing the villain any day now.
