Stephen Fry's a very funny man, and a terrific actor to boot. Now comes word from Peter Jackson's Facebook page that Fry will be joining the cast of THE HOBBIT, playing the Master of Laketown, who doesn't seem to get along with our heroes very well. According to Jackson, “I've known Stephen for several years, and we're developing a DAMBUSTERS movie together. In addition to his writing skills, he's a terrific actor and will create a very memorable Master for us.”
I'm actually more excited that DAMBUSTERS is still going to happen and with Fry involved with that project as well? That should be something to see. DAMBUSTERS has long been a dream project for Jackson, and I'd love to see his take on the material. At least we know what PJ's doing after THE HOBBIT.
