Hey folks, Harry here... I had the CHiPS Mego dolls, they got into action scenes throughout my childhood with Evel Knieval and eventually my TRON Lightcycles. Friends and I would create spectacular collisions and vehicular trauma. It was bliss. The show had comedy, motorcycle action and it was on from 1977-1983 - and while I wasn't an every show watcher, it was a fun one. Now, if you watch this trailer and you were a fan of the original show- the comedy is more adult and the ratio of chuckles to Highway Patrol work is amped to comedy, but who really thought with this cast it'd be different? I mean it is written by, directed by & starring Dax Shepard... teamed up with Michael Peña... that's gonna be funny.

If you want a fucking brilliant motorcycle cop movie, look no further than ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE starring Robert Blake. Film is just incredible. And if you want a double feature, follow it up with MAGNUM FORCE! That's a great double bill!
