Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. 2016 seems to be the year of LBJ appreciation. Bryan Cranston already turned in a great performance as one of our more colorful presidents for HBO's All The Way and now we have a Rob Reiner film on deck with Woody Harrelson getting a chance at that role.
The film is playing TIFF and as a result we get a little peek at the humor of LBJ as played by Harrelson in a brand new clip!
This clip is kind of LBJ in a nutshell. He's frank, loves imparting southern wisdom and you get a little bit of his infamous "taking a shit during meetings" reputation at the head of this scene.
The Cranston film was quite good, but I won't hold it against Reiner's flick. If Truman Capote can support two films in the same year, then so can the man who forced the Civil Rights Act into reality.
