Vincent D'Onofrio and Breaking Bad's Dean Norris join Bruce Willis in Eli Roth's DEATH WISH remake!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Whether or not you think Eli Roth making a new Death Wish is a good idea, you gotta give him credit for building an interesting cast. Bruce Willis in the Charles Bronson role is pretty perfect and now, according to Deadline, he'll be joined by Breaking Bad's Dean Norris and Vincent D'Onofrio.

D'Onofrio would be playing Willis' brother and Norris would be a police detective.

Hollywood's remake culture might be a little frustrating, but I'm not automatically against the concept of taking a second crack at an interesting film. We've gotten some great new movies out of those approaches. The Fly, The Thing and the recent Pete's Dragon come immediately to mind.

I like Roth's cast so far. If he can capture a little of that '70s grit without just copying what came before (and if he can get Bruce Willis invested enough to not float his way through this performance) I think he could turn in a really interesting movie. What do you folks think?
