David Tennant to be a BAD SAMARITAN for Dean Devlin!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Dean Devlin's prepping a movie called Bad Samaritan and it looks like he found his threatening lead in Doctor Who's David Tennant, per THR.

Tennant recently played a good threatening asshole in Jessica Jones, so this isn't a huge stretch for the actor. I'm more concerned about the premise of Devlin's story, described as a thriller about young valets that use their jobs as a way to successfully break into their customers' houses. I imagine they quickly copy their house keys.

Of course they end up breaking into the wrong guy's house.

This is a well-worn plot in the thriller genre (The People Under the Stairs and The Collector jump immediately to mind) and it was recently done about as good as can be by Fede Alvarez in his film DON'T BREATHE. It seems to me like it'd be a mistake making this film so hot on the heels of that film, but what do I know? I'm just a guy who watches a lot of movies, not a studio exec.

I like Tennant in that role, but I hope there's more to it than the little bit of the premise we know already.
