Enjoy your “Nerd World Report” while you got it!
After going almost non-stop for 4.5 years, next week’s August 26 edition will be our last, at least for a while. Expect sporting events to take over our KERN-FM timeslot until spring – and when spring arrives, maybe more NWR, maybe something else.
In any event, I’ll continue talking about entertainment on the Friday afternoon editions of KERN-FM’s “The Ralph Bailey Show” and Hop will continue serving as Scott Cox’s sidekick on the same station’s morning show. (Both shows are available live worldwide the same way NWR is.) And I’ve already entered high-level discussions with KERN-FM’s program director about Something New.
To keep our longtime listeners in talkback warm, I’ll likely try to keep the Herc Radio brand going by posting something on Ain’t It Cool every Saturday or every sixth Saturday. Or something.
As for tonight and next Saturday? “Nerd World Report” still airs live 9 p.m. till midnight Pacific Time. No matter where you are you can listen to the show LIVE by hitting the “Listen Live” button at kernradio.com.
