AICN HORROR: Mickey Keating’s Grindhouse road movie CARNAGE PARK gets a new poster and trailer!

Hey folks, Ambush Bug here with some cool horror news. Mickey Keating has been tearing a new hole in the horror genre with RITUAL, POD (reviewed here) and DARLING (reviewed here) over the last year or two. It seems this man doesn’t sleep as he now has a new film called CARNAGE PARK coming out from IFC Midnight which is more of a horrific road movie, but I’d still lump it into the horror category. Here’s the official synopsis;

This pure-pulp thrill ride jumps between past and present as it pieces together the puzzle of a shocking crime. It's 1978 and a bank robbery gone wrong leaves Vivian (THE LAST EXORCISM’s Ashley Bell) the hostage of two criminals on the run. But things go from bad to off-the-rails berserk when she and her captors wind up on the sun-baked desert outpost of a deranged ex-military sniper (CHEAP THRILL’s Pat Healy), who ensnares them in his deadly game of cat and mouse. Rising horror auteur Mickey Keating (POD, DARLING) directs this gritty, grisly homage to the glory days of grindhouse cinema.
