Gotham 2.19 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Azrael.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Jim Barnes (“Revolution,” “Falling Skies”) and Ken Woodruff (“The Mentalist”).

What says Fox?
“Gordon and Bruce question Professor Strange about Project Chimera, which leads Strange to send the newly resurrected Galavan to confront Gordon. Meanwhile, Nygma investigates who Professor Strange is.”

How does it start?
One day after Galavan woke up, Strange continues to observe him. “There’s not much use bringing back the dead if they come back crazy,” observes his associate Peabody. All Galavant can do is quote a book titled “The Will and Order of St. Dumas,” the sacred text of the crusading knights from which Galavan is descended.

Strange isn’t Strange?
He’s also The Philosopher.

What else is doing with Ed Nygma?
He vows to Jim Gordon that he will figure a way out of Arkham Asylum.

Does Gordon apologize to Galavan for killing him earlier?
Not this week.

What’s doing with Barbara Kean?
She’s back hanging with Butch and Sabrina, and looking crazier by the minute.

Does Cobblepot go after Strange this week?
He’s still hanging around his father’s place with the rotting corpses of his step-family.

Any sign of Harvey Dent, Crispis Allen, Renee Montoya or Ivy Pepper this week?
None. Though Dent is name-checked

Is Fish Mooney back?
Not this week. But she’ll be back soon. After tonight only three episodes left until next autumn.

The big news?
Strange claims he was one of those working at Pinewood who forced Thomas Wayne to shut down the program.

What else is Fox not telling us?
Those who have been missing Batman may enjoy the very Batmanny figure Galavan cuts this week.

What’s good?
B.D. Wong as Strange. Michael Chiklis as Capt. Barnes. Ben McKenzie as Gordon. Cory Michael Smith as Nygma. James Frain as Galavan. The suitcase. Strange’s new stack of fiction. Capt. Barnes and his pipe. “And dressed in a bizarre costume.” “Actually, Bourbon … ”

What’s not so good?
Still no Morena Baccarin this week.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“Oh my,” gasps Ed.

8 p.m. Monday. Fox.
