Hey folks, Harry here... Check out the Animated first official Trailer for THE KILLING JOKE R-rated animated film. Which features the voices of Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy in the most incredibly intense and insane versions of their characters. There seems to be a group of folks that are against these fatalistic versions of their characters, but this has never just been a children's medium. I get wanting to show your kids everything, my parents did - and they used all of the crazy questions that comes from showing children something more adult, by having lots of adult conversations with me. You see - Superheroes in comics are not static beings, they transform as different artists take them on. What I wish we had out of DC Films is multiple iterations of these characters cinematically. Not just the Frank Miller and the Alan Moore versions - and that's coming from someone that LOVES those versions of these characters... but they're not my faves. Curt Swan era is my fave Superman. My fave Batman is the Neal Adams era. But I know the characters throughout - and here's the thing. I love this medium, intensely. It was my family's business. I met so many friends through these characters. But there's a truth that all of the best people I know agree on. The very best performances of BATMAN & THE JOKER are Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill with the BATMAN: ANIMATED SERIES and the Films. To see the team tackling THE KILLING JOKE... It's better than we deserve. This trailer... turn everything else off... watch it as big as you can with the sound set to send shivers down that spine of yours. THIS IS THE RELEASE OF THE YEAR!
