The second-season premiere of “Fear The Walking Dead,” the first TV show ever to employ Robert Kirkman as showrunner, got a 3.1, the same rating Chris Hardwick’s “Talking Dead” aftershow got the Sunday prior. “Fear” hit another new series low last Sunday, garnering considerably less than half the key-demo audience watching the season finale of Scott Gimple’s mothership “The Walking Dead” the prior week. On the upside, “Fear” was still last Sunday’s top show, and it was just renewed by AMC for a third season. Good news for Hardwick.
