Last week might have brought my favorite “Agent Carter” episode ever, boasting as it did the series of flashbacks demonstrating why Peggy made the transition from codebreaker to field agent. ABC says of tonight’s “The Atomic Job”:
As Jarvis' precision and quick-thinking skills are put to the ultimate test, Peggy must find a way to stop an atomic explosion that threatens to destroy all of California.

FX’s “The People Vs. O.J. Simpson” was tied with a CBS special about Super Bowl commercials as last Tuesday’s top show. I’m told it was the biggest series premiere in FX history.
Fox’s “The Grinder” hit another new personal low of 0.6 last Tuesday.
ABC's "The Muppets," which launched with a 2.9, hit a new personal low of 0.9 last week. This did not help "Agent Carter" hit an even lower personal nadir.
Buoyed by Iowa primary results, “The O’Reilly Factor” ratings skyrocketed to tie “Chopped Junior” and “Fit To Fat To Fit” in the key 18-49 demo. Sadly, the Fox News staple continued to lag “Shadowhunters,” “Married At First Sight” and “The Little Couple.”
