Daniel Craig would prefer a License To Kill Himself, than be Bond, James Bond again!

Hey folks, Harry here...  This is one of them stories that really about a moment in time, rather than anything else.   In a TIME OUT interview, Daniel Craig was asked if he'd play James Bond again and he stated:

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” Craig said. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

You see that "Now?" - that's Craig essentially saying that he's so exhausted with making this last film that he can't imagine wanting to do it again.  But does say if he did, he'd be doing it for the money.   And that's all you really needed to hear.   He's looking forward to different roles, but I personally suspect that Craig will want to finish this Sam Mendes BOND trilogy - if Mendes signs on, but there's a lot of different options - and the future is always unclear on these types of things.  There's also a question about where BOND is going to be.  After SPECTRE, the deal with MGM & SONY is complete and back this summer there were whispers of JAMES BOND joining the Warner Brothers family - if that happens - then it'll be time for a reboot most certainly. UNLESS - SPECTRE makes SKYFALL + numbers - or if Tom Rothman works some of his occult magic and locks down the rights at SONY - which frankly needs Bond way more than Warners does...

SO.   What do you, the fans, want moving forward from James Bond movies?

Keep it cool,

Harry
