Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I may have missed being the target demo for the Power Rangers by a few years, but my little brother sure as hell was. The age difference was just big enough that teenage me got hit with Barney, Telletubbies, Pokemon and Power Rangers.
And all of them flew right over my head. Don't get the appeal, but I know a whole generation adores them, so for you guys here's a little bit of Power Rangers movie news. Behold the face of the new Pink Ranger:
That's Naomi Scott, who most recently showed up in a bit part in Ridley Scott's super fun THE MARTIAN.
Lionsgate seems to be moving full speed ahead with their non-super dark version of the reboot. I expect this will be of interest to a whole lot of people, but I still say the first person to make a realistic, badass Pokemon movie will be able to print money for at least a solid 10 years.
