We have a one-sheet for the new Bond, and while it’s not that dissimilar to some of the one-sheets for SKYFALL (Bond looking into the camera wearing a suit and a gun in the foreground with some other stuff happening in the background), it has that striking-ass bowler-wearing skeleton in the background.
I’m getting both Baron Samedi and Cobra Kai vibes off that imagery, but I have no idea how it relates to the reveal of the title organization that we’re being promised in this flick. It’s certainly ominous as all hell, though. If the film focuses on how far Spectre’s reach goes while nabbing at our current fears of cyberterrorism and global security, it could prove to be one of the creepier, more unsettling Bonds to date.
Nice to see Q, M, and Moneypenny all get credits on the poster alongside the new blood, like Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, and Monica Bellucci. Didn’t really see Desmond Llewelyn’s name too prominently on those old one-sheets, though god knows he deserved it.
Who else has high hopes for Mendes’ second Bond?
