Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm a sucker for best friends being best friends together movies. They say friends are the family you choose and that's certainly been my experience in life, so these kinds of stories hit me dead center.
Missing You Already is a story about two inseparable people, played by Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette, who have to come to terms with how fragile mortality is when one gets cancer and the other gets pregnant.
These two ladies are crazy charismatic and that energy can be seen in the trailer. Hopefully that charisma elevates what could be a simple manipulative story. The feeling I get from the trailer is we stand a chance of having a really sweet, fun movie, but that could be my life-long crush on Drew Barrymore talking...
