Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Empire ain't done yet! They still have a ton of Star Wars: The Force Awakens material and the steady drip keeps on dripping!
Today we get a couple BTS photos and a look at the Collector's Cover which is features BB-8 in all his glory. Yes, I say him now. For a while I wasn't sure (him, her, it?), but a recent in-depth story on BB-8's birth and evolution at StarWars.com had the creators calling BB-8 he and him, so I guess he's a kinda male droid.
Whatever robot-gender he identifies with, we know that BB-8 already looks awesome and is becoming a fan favorite without anyone even seeing the damn movie yet! So here's his cover, which would be the first stand-alone character cover for this new movie if I'm not mistaken:
Way to go, BB! I always knew you had it in you!
Next up are a couple cool BTS shots, both featuring John Boyega's Finn. I particularly like the one with him in his Stormtrooper duds, but the other one has an epic quality about it... just a man and the desert. Very David Lean.
Love it. Come on, movie. Don't disappoint! I have faith in you!
