A Syfy series about a hot cop from 2077 hunting time-traveling terrorists in present-day Vancouver, “Continuum” will shut down for good following the conclusion of its six-episode fourth season launching Sept. 11.
The show stars Rachel Nichols, who played a spy in J.J. Abrams’ “Alias” and the green Starfleet cadet Kirk was boning in Abrams’ “Star Trek.”
A total of 42 “Continuum” episodes will have been produced once the finale is shot.
The series, created by screenwriter and longtime Vancouver resident Simon Barry (co-writer of the 2000 Wesley Snipes actioner “Art of War”) originated on Canada’s Showcase channel.
