A Whole Gaggle Of Characters Are Following AGENT CARTER To L.A.!! Not Just Jarvis And Angie!!

I am – Hercules!!

Take that spoiler alert seriously!

An Entertainment Weekly story suggests that Soviet-trained superspy Ida Emke (aka Dottie Underwood), a product of the same program that later produced Natasha “Black Widow” Romanoff, will be following Peggy Carter west to California this coming season.

In the first-season finale Emke produced a large pool of head-wound blood after Agent Carter kicked her out a window and Emke landed on an airplane far below. Then Emke vanished and that was the last we saw of the comely blonde assassin.

We’ve known for a while now that Captain America’s almost-girlfriend Peggy Carter would relocate to Los Angeles for the 1947-set second season of “Agent Carter.” We’ve also known that the plan was for her to be joined by waitress Angie Mantinelli (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Howard Stark’s butler Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy).

Now the same EW piece – the one that tells us “Agent Carter” is pursuing Bridget Regan to reprise the role of Emke – says Enver Gjokaj, who played Peggy’s fellow SSR Agent Daniel Sousa, has closed a deal to return for the second season. A deal to bring back Chad Michael Murray as SSR agent Jack Thompson is “forthcoming,” according to the report.

Why are all these people hanging out in California? The fact that Jarvis is there suggests Peggy & Co. are working with – or at least keeping an eye on – Iron Man’s genius inventor dad, even though there’s no official word that Dominic Cooper will reprise the role of Howard Stark. (Cooper is the star of another comic-book-derived TV show, AMC’s Seth Rogen-produced “Preacher,” so his participation in “Agent Carter” may be diminished.)

“Agent Carter” returns at midseason.

Is that an SSR or a SHIELD eagle on the second season poster below?
