I consumed “Wayward Pines’” first five episodes quickly and with great enjoyment. Tonight the second airs. Episode five is pretty crazy. Try to stick around at least another three weeks.
When FX announced the fifth-season renewal of “Louie” way back in July, the press release said we’d only be getting seven episodes this year. The seventh airs tonight, but we’re getting an eighth (really the second part of tonight’s episode) next Thursday.

“Wayward Pines” had a lousy start ratings-wise, but then again the pilot has been available via On Demand for weeks. I hear the Fox broadcast did phenomenally on DVRs, but what doesn’t?
