Game of Thrones 5.4 FAQ

What’s it called?
“The Sons of the Harpy.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Dave Hill, longtime assistant to series masterminds D.B. Weiss and David Benioff.

What says HBO?
“The Faith Militant grow increasingly aggressive. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) head south. Ellaria (Indira Varma) and the Sand Snakes vow vengeance.”

Do the Sand Snakes visit The Mountain to avenge the death of their father, Prince Oberyn Martell?
No, but we do finally meet the Snakes this week.

How does it start?
With Jorah on the beach, stealing a boat and tossing Tyrion inside.

Does tonight’s episode have a flashback?
It does not.

Who’s in this one?
Opening titles: Peter Dinklage (Tyrion). Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime). Lena Headey (Cersei). Emilia Clarke (Dany). Kit Harington (Snow). Aidan Gillen (Baelish). Natalie Dormer (Margaery). Stephen Dillane (Stannis). Carice Van Houten (Melissandre). Indira Varma (Ellaria). John Bradley (Samwell). Sophie Turner (Sansa). Jerome Flynn (Bronn). Michiel Huisman (Daario). Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei). Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen). Iain Glen (Jorah).

So no Arya, Jaqen, Davos, Varys, Brienne, Reek, Roose, Ramsay, Olenna or Gilly in this one?
Correct. But I suspect Olenna is coming soon.

What’s doing with Jaime and Bronn?
They’re riding a merchant ship down to Dorne to extract Jaime’s daughter/niece Myrcella.

Is Margaery this week hurrying Tommen along in sending Cersei back to Casterly Rock?
Margaery has a new set of problems this week, thanks to Cersei.

Does the Khaleesi hire an old Targaryen dragon trainer already?
Not this week. And he would have to be very old indeed. The last of the Targaryen dragons (or at least the last before Dany hatched her own) died more than a century before Jaime Lannister turned kingslayer.

Is Stannis still hanging out at Castle Black?
He is.

Anything going on with the Sparrows this week?
A great deal, actually.

Do we learn if Jorah is taking Tyrion to Cersei?
We do.

What’s doing with Baelish and Sansa?
Baelish has to leave Sansa and return to King’s Landing for a meeting with Cersei.

The big news?
Jaime tells Bronn he wants to kill Tyrion for murdering Tywin.

What else is HBO not telling us?
Things do not go well for King Tommen this week!

What’s great?
Jaime’s hand. “You should be happy to go back there.” “Your neice?” “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” “Your captor.”

What’s not so great?
No Arya.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
With a big pile of dead bodies.

9 p.m. Sunday. HBO.
