Can I be honest? I was really hoping that Fantastic Four would go back to Marvel Studios - not necessarily for the team, which I've never really embraced the way I have the Avengers, but because of Galactus. Galactus may be the best, scariest, most dangerous villain in the Marvel Universe, and to have a massive Avengers/FF team-up in a movie would pretty much be geek bingo for me. But, since it didn't, I can only hope for the best movie possible from Fox... and this is a good trailer! I love the team dynamic, especially the changes with Johnny Storm. Sure, it's not exactly like the comic, but this looks fun and I really like the cast.
Who knows, maybe Marvel and Fox can get together like they did with Sony and bring us the big Galactus story someday. It won't happen for several years if it does, but that's okay, I can wait. Here's the new trailer, and I hope Josh Trank delivers.
