Two new images from the filming of SPECTRE have come online, giving us our first look at Dave Bautista’s character (‘Mr. Hinx’) from the film.
During the casting of Mr. Hinx, the production was evidently lseeking an ‘iconic henchman.’ Looking at this photo, I’m not clear on what exactly makes Bautista’s character ‘iconic.’ I guess I’d imagined a more obviously striking or notable appearance or something? But seeing him do his thing will be fun all the same when SPECTRE opens in early November.
There’s also an image of Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann from the filming.
Seydoux characterizes her role thusly:
"I don't consider myself a Bond girl," says Seydoux. "I think I'm not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can't be like, 'Oh, James.' You have to find something else. She's not a fighter, she's a doctor," she adds. "She fights in another way."
