Some new images have surfaced from THE WALK, the new film from Robert Zemekis. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as French acrobat Philippe Petit, who, in 1974, masterminded a crazy scheme to sneak into the World Trade Center, string a wire between the towers and perform a high-wire routine high above the city streets - 40 years ago today, in fact.
These stills feature the planning stages of the stunt, and frankly, it looks far less terrifying when it's being depicted with wine bottles. The IMAX 3D presentaiton that Zemekis has planned will, no doubt, be an entirely different and thrilling experience.
THE WALK opens on October 2, 2015.
