Chris Elliott, in perhaps his best wig ever, plays The Guy Under The College – or at least a computer-loving zillionaire genius living in isolation since 1971 deep beneath Greendale.
Will NBC bring back “Community”? “We’re definitely coming back,” certifies Abed very late in tonight’s season (series?) finale, unless, he says, an extinction-meteor intervenes.
On one hand NBC has not been in the business of renewing shows that only muster 0.9s in the key 18-49 demo.
On the other hand, the second of “Community’s” 11 season-five episodes hit a 1.4. And is “Growing Up Fisher” going to do better than a 0.9 against “The Big Bang Theory”?
Whether tonight’s installment (which does not feature the return of Troy or Pierce, by the way) is the season or series finale (NBC will decide in less than a month), there are plenty of big laughs to be found, not the least of which involves one character’s umbrage regarding rope availability.
Don’t miss the cameo-infused epilogue, which offers a look at the faux NBC programming that could theoretically replace “Community.”
