Following his writing-directing debut, the 2009 horror comedy HYSTERICAL PSYCHO, actor Dan Fogler (FANBOYS, BALLS OF FURY) has created (along with co-writer and -director Michael Canzoniero) the dark comedy DON PEYOTE, about Warren Allman (Fogler), an unemployed stoner who finally finds a purpose in life after an unpleasant encounter with a homeless man preaching doomsday prediction. Fueled by vivid apocalyptic dreams, Warren becomes obsessed with 2012 doomsday theories and decides to make a documentary on the subject while his fiance is busy planning their wedding.
DON PEYOTE co-stars a parade of famous faces, including Anne Hathaway, Jay Baruchel, Josh Duhamel, Topher Grace, Wallace Shawn, Annabella Sciorra, and even filmmaker Abel Ferrara. The film should be out later this year, and we have the first look at the official poster:
