Sony Pictures has released a new, international trailer for the upcoming ANNIE remake. This version will be set in a modern-day New York and features the ever-charming Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) as the darling orphan who can win over even the most stone-cold billionaire's heart (played here by Jamie Foxx).
We caught the domestic trailer last month, and this version shows some new footage, particularly in the second half (along with some more footage of Cameron Diaz acting...well...crazy in the role of Miss Hannigan). But even with that, it's hard to argue against Wallis in the role of Annie, given the way she lights up the screen.
We'll have to wait until Christmas to see if Will Gluck's adaptation is a success, but what are you guys thinking so far?
