“Parks and Recreation" is going to have a seventh season,” NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt told journalists gathered at the Television Critics Association gathering in Pasadena.
Though a new episode of the Amy Poehler franchise only hit a 1.2 in adults 18-49 on Thursday (CBS’ repeat of “The Millers” in the same timeslot hit a 1.9), “Parks” is still the highest rated sitcom on NBC.
This is probably great news for all the NBC shows that are doing better than “Parks”:

(I’ve added late-night franchise SNL to the primetime list just because it tends to do better than everything else on NBC.)
Greenblatt is stuck with 22 episodes of “The Michael J. Fox Show” this season and says it may move to other nights (where I’m guessing even fewer viewers will watch it).
