'You’ll Be Begging Me To Die!!' Sneak Peek For Frank Darabont's Period Los Angeles TNT Crime Drama MOB CITY!!

Frank Darabont (writer-director behind “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile” and “The Mist”) created the AMC megahit “The Walking Dead.” Then AMC fired him. The he created a TNT crime drama set in 1947 Los Angeles (the when and where of Bugsy Siegel’s assassination).

It was originally titled “L.A. Noir,” then retitled “Lost Angels,” and TNT just retitled it again to “Mob City.” It stars “Walking Dead” vets Jon Bernthal and Jeffrey DeMunn as members of an LAPD anti-mob task force. Neal McDonough (“Justified”) plays LAPD Chief William Parker, Ed Burns (“Saving Private Ryan”) plays Bugsy, Jeremy Luke plays L.A. kingpin Mickey Cohen. Alexa Davalos (“Angel”), Gregory Itzin (“24”), Robert Knepper (“Cult”) and Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes”) are also in the cast.
