“The Simpsons’” 24th “Treehouse of Horror,” scripted by “Futurama” vet and 8-year “Simpsons” writer Jeff Westbrook, is a pretty funny one, offering occasionally inspired parodies of “The Cat in the Hat,” “The Thing With Two Heads” and “Freaks.”
