Halloween is quickly approaching, and we're all looking for something new to give us the creeps. Any time of year is a good time to discover new horror flicks, but let's be honest - it's even more fun in October. Me? I'm looking forward to Anthony DiBlasi's (DREAD) upcoming film CASSADAGA.
Over the summer, we posted the trailer for the film. This week, a few clips have been released (thanks to Bloody Disgusting), making me even more psyched to check it out.
Inspired by the actual spiritualist community in Florida, CASSADAGA is the story of Lily Morel (Kelen Coleman), a young woman who seeks help from a group of mediums to contact the spirit of her deceased sister. What she finds instead, is the angry ghost of a murdered woman.
Check out the clips below. I also re-posted the trailer, for good measure. The flick looks balls-creepy, and I really can't wait to see what DiBlasi has in store for us on this one. I really dug the work that he did on DREAD, and I am excited to see what else he brings to the table.
CASSADAGA will be released in theaters and on VOD on October 11th.
