Nothing too exciting, but I was expecting Sony to change the title. I was thinking they might do a new adjective with each film, like THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN or something along those lines, just to further distance itself from the original film series. But I guess not, so THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 it is. (You never want to put TOO much effort into something.)
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 swings into theaters May 2, 2014 and Sony has a panel scheduled this weekend at Comic-Con, where some footage from the sequel is expected to be shown.
