Terrence Malick is my favorite living filmmaker and THE THIN RED LINE is one of my all time favorite films, so to say that I am excited for KNIGHT OF CUPS is an understatement (I even liked TO THE WONDER). The Hollywood Reporter got their hands on this exclusive image below. It’s our first look at the next film from Malick and to most it won't mean much but it just gives me so much hope for what this movie could be. Natalie Portman and Christian Bale in a Terrence Malick film are the kind of things my dreams are made of. (I can’t wait to see what some of you guys respond with to that.)
Make sure all of you Terrence Malick fans stick up for me in the talkbacks below because I know I am going to get a lot of shit for this so be loud and proud! To those of you who can’t stand Malick and his fans let me know why beyond just being pretentious and self absorbed. Is there specific artistic choices you don’t like?
