Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills has been given a release date by Open Road Films, which is good news considering there was a lawsuit hovering over the production that could very well have kept the film from being released.
Danny Trejo will kick some ass again September 13th with Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, Alexa Vega, Cuba Gooding Jr., William Sadler, Demian Bichir, Marko Zaror (yay!) and Mel Gibson.
Say what you will about Rodriguez, but man does he pull together a hell of a cast. Marko Zaror I'm particularly looking forward to. He's a Chilean Dwayne Johnson and if he gets the right role he'll be massive here. Check out Kiltro and Mandrill if you don't believe me.
So, now you know the new Machete film hits in September this year. Plan accordingly.
