If I’m not mistaken, Tuesday night, right after a new episode of CBS’ “The Unit,” FX colorcasts its first-ever 90-minute installment of “The Shield.” Then “The Shield” goes away for a while. Maybe till summer?

All I know. And remember: If you just want to chat about “The Shield” (or any other show), you no longer have to wait until stupid Herc gets off his lazy hinder and sticks up a post. Fearless leader Harry Knowles has gone to great time and expense to commission this thing called “THE ZONE” (find its link above, nestled happily between “REVIEWS” and “CHAT”). And a much better place to foster a “Shield” discussion than, say, a “Battlestar Galactica” or “Lost” post, am I right?
